Police to file charge against one in connection to inferno

Kathmandu: Police authority at the Damak-based Sub-Police Post in Jhapa said it has decided to file a charge case against one who was arrested in having connection to the cause of recent fire in Beldangi-II camp.
Kamal Thapa, Inspector at the police post, responding to a query of BNS said preparation were underway to file a charge case at the district court in Jhapa against Birkha Bahadur Thapa of Sector E/1-86 in Beldangi-II camp.
Inspector Thapa further informed the BNS that the inferno had begun from Birkha Thapa’s hut. “I cannot exactly tell you whether he had admitted it but I can say there are green signals that Birkha Thapa was involved in setting ablaze”, said Inspector Thapa.

BNS correspondent, who have been reporting the inferno incident since the beginning, however have quoted the neighbor of Birkha Thapa as saying that he has mentally gone ill.
Harka Bahadur Subba, Sub-sector Head of E/1 said Vikram Thapa, 27, used to be noticed quite depressed in the recent days.
“Medical check-ups will tell us whether he had gone mentally ill or is a trick”, said Inspector Thapa.
Birkha Bahadur Thapa, who was arrested by the APF personnel based in Beldangi-II camp, is now kept inside the custody in Damak police post.
